Hello DungeonSweepers!
Today brings another small patch. Unfortunately, there was a bug with the save system I had implemented and the saves won't persist across itch.io updates. This patch has some updates and an attempt to fix that bug, but that unfortunately may require some users to refresh progress. Sorry about that, I think the issue resolved now....hopefully.
General
- Added option in Settings menu to disallow clicking on Flagged tiles.
- Added more SFX, like Healing, Vision Orbs, XP gain.
- Added more art for some items.
- Minor UI update for the Library screen.
- First Dungeon level has been re-balanced. The purpose is to make it easier to consistently beat it and move on to the shop.
Classes
- Added the Apothecary. He starts with the Alembic. Added 4 achievements to mirror the other classes.
Enemies/Tiles
- Demon Knights in the second Dungeon and above now have shields that denotes their quadrant. There are strict rules for how many of each quadrant there can be in a dungeon.
- Tarot Card can now spawn a bit further away from the center. This is to help add some variety to Fortune Teller.
Items
- Added the Alembic. It adds a random potion to your inventory at the start of each dungeon. (Currently there are 2 but more will come)
- Holy Light is now Epic (from Rare), costs 8 (from 3), and is Unique-Equipped.
- Holy Light is now -3 (from -4) to the next Demon.
Bugfixes
- Fixed Faerie Bait item to actually add in extra spawns even when the original dungeon level doesn't have a Faerie.
- Items that update power of enemies when used will now immediately show the change on the board.
- Items that update power for a certain amount of kills will no longer persist when killing 0 power enemies.
- Fixed the Rat Pacifist achievement triggering when killing 0 power rats.
- Sfx will no longer fail to play when another sfx was already playing.
- Tentative fix for save data across itch.io updates.
